Tourbillon watch
The whirlpool is a complication designed and patented by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1801, for to compensate for deviations in speed due to the gravité terrestrial. This complication is composed of a mobile cage carrying all the components of the escapement, as well as the regulating organ. The escapement wheel pinion rotates around the fixed seconds wheel. The cage usually makes one revolution per minute.
